Driving out the competition with a winning car park surface specification

When our longstanding distribution partner JDP came to us in need of a geopaving system for a car park project at a new housing development in Leighton Buzzard, we jumped at the opportunity to help.

Contractor ECL Civil Engineering identified the need for a system to overcome common challenges, including drainage, stability, reinforcement and protection. The contractor had already received a different specification from a competitor, resulting in our team needing to highlight exactly why our solution was superior and customers who buy from us don’t look back.

Our system, including the permanent panelled geopaving system Ecodeck, biaxial geogrid SX Grid, and GT membrane 500, was assessed for its strength, sustainability, and price. Despite offering a sample to prove that our solution was the best fit, the assessment findings and comparison between products were enough to secure the order. Our products eventually covered nearly 3,000 sq m on the Bedfordshire site.
