Introducing TerraGrid™

19 January 2026
Geoworks

A clearer, more intuitive way to choose your geogrid

We have simplified our biaxial geogrid range to help customers choose the right reinforcement solution quickly and with confidence. TerraGrid Core and TerraGrid Pro replace SX Grid and E’GRID, bringing clearer naming and product selection without changing the products themselves.

Our aim has always been simple: to make geosynthetics easier to understand, specify and install. As part of this commitment, we have introduced TerraGrid, a refreshed identity for our biaxial geogrids that brings clarity, structure and consistency to one of our most widely used ranges.

SX Grid becomes TerraGrid Core.

E’GRID becomes TerraGrid Pro.

The performance remains unchanged. Each product retains its original specification, approvals and properties. What changes is the clarity of the offer.

Why we introduced TerraGrid

With thousands of projects relying on our geogrids every year, we know how important it is to identify the correct option quickly. TerraGrid provides a clean, intuitive divide between two types of reinforcement:

  • TerraGrid Core - our standard geogrid for everyday, cost-effective reinforcement
  • TerraGrid Pro - our premium, high-performance geogrid with EPD data and over 25 years of real-world test data

Both continue to support applications such as compounds, haul roads, car parks, working platforms and general stabilisation.

A clearer structure across the range

Each TerraGrid family is now organised by product strength, giving users a straightforward way to find the right specification:

TerraGrid Core (formerly SX Grid)

  • 2020
  • 3030
  • 4040
  • Composite (combined geogrid + geotextile)

TerraGrid Pro (formerly E’GRID)

  • 2020
  • 3030
  • 4040
  • 3030L (large-aperture, Network Rail approved)

This structure makes it easier to compare performance levels, match products to load requirements and streamline procurement.

More support where it matters

TerraGrid Pro will also be fully integrated with a next-generation specification platform, designed to meet the needs of today’s specifiers and engineers. Launching soon, this new platform will simplify the specification process, helping projects run more smoothly and efficiently.

The same trusted performance

While the naming has evolved, the products retain their proven biaxial structure, interlock performance and long-term durability that our customers depend on, including the real-world test data and credibility built over two decades with TerraGrid Pro.

Simpler, clearer and easier to specify

TerraGrid marks an important step in making our portfolio more intuitive, helping customers spend less time navigating product names and more time progressing their projects.
