TurfMesh Installation GuideProduct selectorSelecting the right product for your project will be determined by several factors: the type of loading expected, the frequency of use and the strength of the in situ soils. When assessing loading frequency, note that entrances, exits, and any access roads experience a significantly higher loading frequency than the parking bays. As an added complication, the drainage characteristics of the existing soils can exert as great an influence as those of the underlying soils. We recommend that soil drainage be considered from the outset. For best results, and subject to ground conditions, TurfMesh should be laid down in early spring through to late summer, when the grass will grow quickly through the mesh and the root mass will interlock with the mesh filaments. The protected area will soon resume its natural appearance, providing a stable surface and protecting it from vehicle and pedestrian damage and rutting. WarningGeoworks and TurfMesh can not account for all the variances in climatic and ground conditions. Please take note that until the grass has grown through the mesh and become established, TurfMesh may be slippery in wet weather or under icy conditions. Care should be taken if pedestrians are allowed to walk on the mesh during the growing period. Installation
