This policy integrates the Principles of Responsible Sourcing outlined within BES 6001, into our approach to managing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors across our supply chain
Our Commitment
We aim to:
- Source materials and services in ways that respect human rights, labour standards, and fundamental rights at work, including the abolition of child labour, forced or compulsory labour, freedom of association, and elimination of discrimination
- Operate in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, supported by documented management systems to ensure quality, environmental responsibility, health & safety, and financial sustainability
- Reduce environmental impacts throughout our supply chain by focusing on: - Climate change and energy: reducing GHG emissions, improving energy efficiency, and prioritising renewable sources
- Prioritise local sourcing where available and appropriate to support regional economies, reduce transportation emissions, and strengthen supply resilience.
- Explore opportunities to reduce water consumption within our suppliers promote using water efficiently, reducing demand on potable supplies, and managing site run-off effectively
- Support circular economy principles by reducing waste and encouraging reuse, recycling, and responsible product lifecycle management.
- Work only with suppliers who align with our ethical values and compliance expectations.
- Foster long-term, transparent, and responsible supplier relationships.
- Give preference where practicable to suppliers who operate systems and policies that prevent pollution incidents, protect biodiversity, and recognise ecological value.
- Work with suppliers to reduce transport impacts through reducing social and environmental impacts of logistics through efficient strategies.

All suppliers are required to comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct, which sets out clear standards relating to:

- Environmental responsibility
- Transparency and traceability
- Responsible material sourcing

Transparency and Continuous Improvement
- Promote traceability of materials and ethical procurement.

Monitoring and Accountability
We assess supplier compliance through risk assessments, audits, and ongoing monitoring. Non-compliance may lead to corrective action or termination of the supplier relationship.
Governance and Review
This policy is reviewed regularly to ensure it remains aligned with international standards, stakeholder expectations, and our own strategic objectives.
Reporting Concerns
We encourage open communication. Any concerns about responsible sourcing or supplier conduct may be reported in confidence.
