![]() 11 Arches visitor car park made easier with Ecodeck
The biggest order of our Ecodeck geopaving solution to date has helped popular outdoor visitor attraction 11Arches to create an essential outdoor car park extension. Through collaboration with leading distributor of civils and drainage products JDP, we have supplied 9,000 sq m of Ecodeck and the same quantity of our nonwoven geotextile MultiTrack. This combination has provided the ideal sustainable ground separation, protection, reinforcement and filtration solution for 11Arches to self-install without contractor intervention. After receiving the enquiry from our longstanding distribution partner JDP, we shared a sample with 11Arches to help the organisation understand why the products are so effective. Not only did the combination make the significant car park extension viable from a ground stability and sustainability perspective, but Ecodeck also provided a solution to the typical wear and tear that car parks experience by stabilising the surface, spreading loads evenly and supporting drainage, all of which help reduce the wear and tear typically seen in heavily used car parks. “The car park is the first part of the visitor experience, which makes it more important than people may realise as it impacts people’s first impressions. We are pleased with the project’s success, having implemented solutions that will give our car park greater functionality and longevity.” Readily available stock meant that 11Arches were able to receive our products as soon as they were needed, supporting our push into different domestic and commercial sectors where DIY solutions are very competitive. As we always offer guidance and receive customer feedback, the project team at 11Arches was supported during the project through continued dialogue with our regional support team and routine site visits. 11Arches’ new car park now benefits from being on level ground, with a reinforced, stable surface – all thanks to our tried and tested Ecodeck and MultiTrack combination.
